With spacious rooms and a cosy open fireplace, Winterwood provides clean and comfortable accommodation for up to 16 people. It contains one large fully equipped kitchen upstairs and a second kitchenette downstairs, two lounge areas (one upstairs/one downstairs), dining room, six bedrooms, laundry, and gas, wood and electric heating to ensure you'll be toasty warm. The house is ideal for a group of friends or several families wanting to stay together.

Most of the king single beds are able to be pushed together and made up as king size beds if preferred.
There is ample off-street parking for up to 5 cars, gas and electric heating for the cooler months, and a gas BBQ and outdoor setting on the front verandah so guests can make the most of the views. The large laundry downstairs has a washer and dryer and plenty of room to lock up skis, boards and boots overnight.

JULY & AUGUST: 5 night midweek (Sun-Fri), 2 night weekend (Fri + Sat) or 7 night weekly bookings ONLY (Sun-Sun or Fri-Fri), no part-week bookings. Changeover days are Friday and Sunday during July and August.
JUNE, SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER: Part-week bookings allowed - minimum 2 nights.
LINEN
All linen (pillows, blankets, doonas, sheets and towels) is included in the total price of the booking, at all times of the year.
SELF-CONTAINED
Winterwood is a fully self-contained property. It is cleaned prior to your arrival and on your departure, but it is not serviced during your stay. This means that guests are provided enough detergent and toilet paper to get started (to last approx. 24 hours) and anything needed in excess of what is initially provided is the responsibility of the guest. Guests are provided with a number to call if they have any questions during their stay at Winterwood.
FIREWOOD
Firewood is provided for guests from April to October.

Free wi-fi is available at Winterwood, and there is good phone reception for Optus and Telstra.

Jindabyne, with its many specialty shops, restaurants and quaint cafes, has everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable - at any time of year.
Located approximately 2 hours drive from Canberra on the edge of Kosciusko National Park, Jindabyne and its surrounds provides visitors with an abundance of activities and attractions. The popular ski resorts of Thredbo and Perisher are an easy 35 minute drive from Jindabyne, providing unrivalled skiing in winter and many outdoor activities and festivals during the warmer months. Adventurers can explore the unspoilt rivers and lakes, walking trails, spectacular caves and historic huts within the National Park. Or go boating, fishing, water skiing or kayaking on Lake Jindabyne. Other nearby activities include mountain biking, horseriding, rock climbing, abseiling, golf and tennis.
Winterwood is located in East Jindabyne, an easy 5-10 minute drive from the main township of Jindabyne. It is also just metres to Jindy Snow ski hire shop, a café with great food and coffee, a liquor store, and a service station that sells bread, milk and basic necessities.
