Particularly worth seeing is the 1220 built monastery in Dobbertin. (12 km) There is the only twin-towered church in Mecklenburg. But the Barlach city Güstrow with the most beautiful renaissance castle in Northern Germany is only 15 km away and definitely worth a trip.
