Ancient charming residence in the heart of Formello, in the former oil mill. Well furnished house with fine finishes and all the comforts for a real holiday. (dishwasher, Wi-Fi internet, Bluetooth Dock station, LCD TV, coffee machine with pods, separate shower and tub, garden and reserved parking space) All services are within a 5-minute walk, pets are welcome. The Chigi residence is immersed in the Veio park, was built by the noble and famous family in 1680 as an oil mill, and has been the mill of the village of Formello for centuries. Today, after a wise and respectful restoration, it has been divided into several housing units, always respecting the place and recovering original materials and forms as much as possible. The house we offer for your holidays is on two floors, with a patio and a private garden. The comfortable and welcoming furnishings, a relaxing environment and the splendid view of the greenery of the house are the perfect starting point for a holiday dedicated to the discovery of our beautiful places. The structure, in addition to the garden and the patio, has a living room with a sofa bed for two additional guests, a beautiful and typical built-in kitchen complete with everything, and a bathroom. Upstairs classic pitched roofs with heights of up to six meters, two comfortable and bright double bedrooms, the second bathroom with tub and a nice and small attic. Possibility of use of the swimming pool and all the sports facilities of the neighboring private club. And more Horse riding or Golf 10 minutes by car. Formello is an important stop on the famous Via Francigena, of interest for pilgrims and scholars given the multipurpose value of its history. We are in an advantageous and central position, from 20 to 30 minutes by car you can reach Rome or the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano with their splendid villages still in time, and still Isola Farnese with the water mill and access to the area Etruscan archeology, Campagnano with the antiques market, Nepi and Sutri, Santa Maria di Galeria with the abandoned town and then the Splendid Tuscia etc ...
