Since we want to avoid gaps between bookings, we recommend to book as close as possible to other already booked dates. The Space: This penthouse is perfect for your stay in Amsterdam. Located in the Jordaan, the epicentre of the city’s gentrification, the apartment is within walking distance of the famous Anne Frank house, the quaint central station and all the conveniences of urban living (with a dash of community feeling). The living area is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing moment after a long day of sightseeing. • Family sized couch • Dining table • Huge Flatscreen TV The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to create a perfect dinner. • Oven • Dishwasher • Stove • Nespresso Coffee Machine There are 3 modern bedrooms where you and your travel party can enjoy a great night of sleep. Guest Access: You will have access to the entire apartment. Make yourself at home! The Neighborhood: Amsterdam’s canals are a UNESCO World Heritage site and it’s worth just wondering through, be it on a bike, boat or by foot. Good thing then that your apartment is located in the western part of canal belt ( ONLY 50 METERS!!) where you’ll also find the most golden remains of the country’s Golden Age preserved in the city’s most imposing façades. The Golden Bend is the most prestigious part of the Herengracht (‘of the lords’), the innermost canal, and lies between the Leidsestraat (a busy shopping high street) and the Vijzelstraat. Headed south (the canals wrap around the city centre in rings), you’ll hit the Keizersgracht (‘of the Emperor’) and then the beautiful Prinsengracht (‘of the Prince’). But the neighbourhood is not all about the impossibly grand canal houses. In-between the residential areas you’ll find little shops and plenty of places to pick up something to eat. Then there’s the Leidseplein with its movie theatres and late night clubs, the ‘nine streets’ are with its boutique shopping and the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat for its antiques and galleries. The apartment is located at the best shopping street from the Netherlands! Please also note that the canals are just around the corner and the central station is a five minute walk from the apartment. Also close to: Begijnhof, Westerkerk, Anne Frank House, Museum van Loon, Felix Meritis Huis, Stadsschouwburg, Foam Photography Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Leidseplein, Vondelpark. Getting Around: Within walking distance from the CENTRAL STATION !! Otherwise, you can always take tram 18 from/to Central Station and get off at Buiten Brouwersstraat. For the RIJKS take tram 2 or 5 and get off at Museumplein - ONLY 15 MINUTES! Parking in Amsterdam is expensive, so we advise you to park your car at a P&R and take the public transport from there. We want to welcome you into a clean and cosy home! If you wish to check-in to the apartment between 20:00/8PM and 08:00/8AM, this is possible. Due to the late hour we do charge an extra fee of 25 euros between 20:00-23:00 or 50 euro’s between 23:00-08:00. Thank you for your understanding! We charge 50 EUR for nightly issues.
