“Quinta dos Templários” is an entrepreneurship that conjugates the accommodation in a traditional portuguese farm from late 19th century, re-modeled to meet the standards of comfort, but keeping its charm.
In our establishment, which counts with hundreds of square meters, you’ll be able to enjoy life outdoors, and if you want to, you can perform agricultural tasks with the mod cons of the 21st century.
“Quinta dos Templários” is located in the center of Portugal, in the region where the Order of the Templar Knights founded its first fortification in portuguese territory.
It’s located 15 minutes away from Tomar and Ferreira do Zezere, less than 30 minutes away from Dornes, Abrantes, Torres Novas and Ourém, all of them cities closely linked to the Order of the Temple.
Our hosts will be able to learn with tours of the surroundings about the glorious history of Portugal and the Templar Knights.
If they prefer, they can choose for wonderful river beaches like Lago Azul, Castelo de Bode, Bairradinha or Agroal, all less than 30 from the establishment.
They can also visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, which is 35 minutes away from the accommodation.
Coimbra, the city that houses the second oldest university of the world, along with other historical and natural atractions, 35 minutes away too.
Those interested in archeology and geology can visit the caves of Avecasta, Mira de Aire and Moeda, a few minutes away.
The most beautiful ocean beaches of the portuguese west coast are located 1 hour away.
The Lisbon airport is 1 and a half hours away and the Porto airport is 2 hours away.
