Lindisfarne Cottage is a wonderful retreat positioned in the pretty village of Lowick on the north-east coast of England. It comprises three bedrooms; a ground floor twin with en-suite shower, a ground floor king-size double with en-suite bathroom and a super king-size double with en-suite bathroom, sleeping six guests altogether. This wonderful interior includes a kitchen, dining room, and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove. To the outside is a rear enclosed patio with hot tub and furniture as well as a front patio with a little pond and parking. Lindisfarne Cottage is a fabulous escape in Northumberland.
Amenities: Electric heating with multi-fuel stove, Rangemaster AGA, Large American style fridge freezer (as seen in photos) , microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Freeview TV with Netflix, WiFi, Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Private driveway parking for one car. Enclosed rear garden with patio, furniture and hot tub, front patio with little pond. Five well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1-minute walk. Note: Open to accepting more dogs if required. Note: Small children to be supervised near pond at front of property. Note: Two steps up from the dining room to the bedroom. If you have any queries regarding charging your car, or if you require access to the log store, please contact the owner. BBQ available on request please contact owner directly. Please note that the oven is induction and only induction pans can be used ( these are provided). Please note: property has its own off road parking for one car, additional parking is available in the village.
Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: The small attractive village of Lowick is ideally placed for a holiday in Northumberland. Kimmerston Riding Centre is just a few miles to the west of the village. The pretty village of Ford with its castle and craft shops is 2 miles away, part of the Ford and Etal Estate which has facilities for cycling and fishing, as well as a mini railway – ideal for all the family. There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick. Northumberland’s beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots for hill walking and mountain biking and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only short drives away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.
