Naturally cocooned by the landscape, and dating from 1607, Weaver's Cottages sits in a cosy, secluded position to provide a true haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The gardens have been planted with care and consideration to give them a delicate, natural feel that is in keeping with our wider environment. Grasses and ferns provide shelter and texture, while perennials offer vibrant colour throughout the year. The lily pond is the ideal retreat for some peaceful reflection accompanied by the relaxing sound of the waterfall.
Countryside walks through fields and forests surround the farm, and the pretty village of Benenden with The Bull at Benenden and the Woodcock pub are only a short stroll away. There is plenty to do in this picturesque part of Kent with the historic towns of Cranbrook and Tenterden close by. There are some outstanding restaurants and many interesting attractions including Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Great Dixter, Scotney and Bodiam Castles, Bodiam Boating Station and Bedgebury Pinetum. The barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can seat approximately 134 guests for formal dining with additional capacity for evening receptions.
