Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was ideal. It is a very short walk to all major museums, many restaurants were a short drive away, some within walking distance. The breakfast was beautifully presented in a grand dining room but I did not care for some of the food. My husband enjoyed it, however.

Negative: The house is beautifully restored, and feels like being in a museum. It is very formal which does not give a welcoming vibe. The hosts are lovely but as non french speaking visitors communication was a little more difficult.

Summary: Excellent location, convenient to museums, restaurants, small markets and hiking/outdoor facilities.
