Outside There are two terraces - one East facing, one West facing to catch sunrises and sunsets, both with decking and seating. Originally the site of the research base for triangulated radar, this stunning beach house sits on the Dungeness Nature Reserve and looks out onto miles of shingle beach, wild plants, birds and the wide open sea and sky. An ideal couple’s retreat, it will appeal to those seeking solitude, nature, peace and quiet. The open plan living space includes a sitting area with cosy wood burner and 180-degree sea views, a mezzanine bed, a luxurious sunken bath with waterfall taps and a sauna. Every comfort has been considered from under floor heating, to warm walls in the shower room. Outside, there are two decked terraces - East facing to enjoy the special sunrises, and West facing to relax and watch the romantic sunsets. You won’t want to leave... ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A fold-up cot and a highchair that clamps to the table can be provided - Please ensure this is requested with a member of the booking team prior to your stay. Reasonable mobile reception, depending on provider and Wi-Fi available. Up to two pets are allowed, provided they are included in the original booking. Please note: If you wish to hold a photo shoot or a TV/Film production at this property an additional fee will apply. The necessary licences must also be obtained from The Dungeness Estate http://www.dungenessestate.co.uk/ Anyone who is found to hold such an event without permission or the relevant licences will be charged retrospectively. Please note: Check in time is 5pm and check out is 9am.
