This lovely cottage offers two delightful bedrooms, along with a modern bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, you can really appreciate the original features in the sitting room with its high vaulted ceiling and feature beams, together with a dining area where you can enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals. There is also a separate Mezzanine area with seating, where you can escape for some peace and quiet with a good book. Outside is a lovely enclosed garden with patio furniture, perfect for sunny days where you can enjoy the surroundings and relax. The village of Lindale has a shop, pub and a Post Office, so you could amble up for your morning paper, whilst in the evening sample some of the hospitality in the pub. Just a few minutes' drive from the cottage is Grange-over-Sands, a charming town noted for its gentle climate. From here you can embark on a train ride over Morecambe Bay to Arnside, on the Lancashire coast, and enjoy all that this quiet, yet exquisite town has to offer. The railway station in Grange is situated close to some lovely tea rooms and specialist shops including a bakery and chocolatiers. Grange also boasts a Michelin Star restaurant, L'Enclume, as well as nearby Cartmel offering a further delectable Michelin dining experience, Rogan and Co, both serving food sure to tantalise your taste buds.
