There are stunning sea views from this very comfortable end terrace apartment, which looks onto the bay and Burnmouth’s small harbour. Originally built in the 1950’s with fisherman’s stores on the ground floor, the accommodation is on the first and second floors, accessed by steps and with a very pretty, steep garden behind the property. This is a place to unwind, relax on the balcony while watching out for seals, sea birds and even dolphins, or to take coastal walks from the doorstep. Edinburgh is just an hour north by car or around 40 minutes by train from Berwick-upon-Tweed, 6 miles away. Nearby, visit the National Trust for Scotland national nature reserve at St Abbs Head, Eyemouth with its busy working harbour and fish market, Paxton House, and Bamburgh and Alnwick castles. There is a sandy beach at Coldingham, 6 miles, and lots of pretty villages, long beaches and dunes slightly further south on the Northumberland coast, all waiting to be explored. Beach 3 miles.
