Located in the popular Peak District village of Great Longstone, complete with grocery shops, a restaurant, pub and even a farm to buy your fresh milk all on the doorstep. The village is flanked by Longstone Edge with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by. The famous Monsal Trail runs through the village and provides 8½ miles of scenic, traffic free walking or cycling, with the spectacular viaduct at nearby Monsal Head and several tunnels along the route to keep the whole family interested. Close by you will find the picture postcard village of Ashford in the Water, which houses a medieval sheep wash bridge, once a major crossing point over the River Wye for the packhorse delivering mail from Derby.
