The cottage has an open plan kitchen/dining room, cosy living room with an open fire and beams, a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a bathroom. It provides comfortable accommodation for up to four guests with character features and tasteful furnishings, and is situated on a 35-acre working beef farm, set back in a quiet location off the main Coniston to Ambleside road providing a pleasant outlook over fields and Loughrigg Fell beyond. The cottage is only a short walk away from the nearby pub and restaurant and there are wonderful walks out onto the fells straight from the front door. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
