This beautiful grade ll listed cottage offers a comfortable stay in the charming little village of Hutton-Le-Hole which is set just outside the market towns of Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and Pickering which are all full of history, character, and stunning architecture. This semi-detached cottage has plenty of character also with a large fireplace and wood burner in the living room, a lovely open fire in the dining room and offers both friends and families a fantastic holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the North York Moors has to offer. The cottage is set over two levels, you enter the property through the hallway with the kitchen and living area either side. The living area is a lovely comfortable space where you can relax in front of the wood burner which will keep you warm on the colder evenings. Across from the living room you have a well-presented, well-equipped kitchen which has plenty of room for food preparation as well as a perfect breakfast area. Access to a separate dining room is through the living room which again is another cosy space and a great place to sit down and have a family meal in front of the open fire.
On the second floor is the beautifully presented master bedroom which offers a plush king-size bed and views of the front and back of the property. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed with the third bedroom offering a single bed. The bathroom has recently been revamped and offers a beautiful freestanding bath with a shower attachment. To the rear of the property there is a delightful little conservatory with seating for two, this also leads you onto the gravelled patio area and garden, this is a great place to sit and relax with a glass of fizz after a day exploring this spectacular area.
The village of Hutton-le-Hole is known as one of the most picturesque villages within the North York Moors, with a clear stream flowing through the middle where the wide green is kept tidy by the local sheep community. There is a pub and tearoom within easy walking distance as well as the very popular Ryedale Folk Museum, where a wealth of traditional buildings from the area have been rescued from destruction and rebuilt to include Elizabethan manors, barns, and thatched cottages. With Helmsley and Pickering just a short drive away, you have instant access to a regular market, independent shops, cafés, and a variety of traditional pubs serving homemade food.
