One of the most beautiful forest and water-rich areas of Friesland is undoubtedly in the municipality of Skarsterlân, between the Tjeukemeer and the Langweerderwielen, in the area of Sint Nicolaasga and Langweer. Places like Joure, Sneek and Heerenveen, with their historic buildings and sights, but also with their cozy centers, museums and parks, are a short distance away. In this beautiful recreation area in Friesland, the ancient Landgoed is situated, where three different types of holiday homes are rented. Recently these very luxurious holiday farms have been built. They are inspired by the Drents-Friese farms and are equipped with a luxurious interior including: dishwasher; washing machine; clothes dryer; combi microwave; stereo system and cable TV The farmhouse with its partly thatched roof has a romantic feel and therefore fits completely in the wooded area of St.Nicolaasga. Moreover, all farms are directly on the Houtvaart or on the centrally located lake, which has an open connection with the nearby Langweerder Wielen. From every holiday farm, each with its own pier, you can reach the Frisian lakes with a sloop or other boat (to rent at the reception). The holiday farms can accommodate up to six people. A few however also for eight people. The Farms, owned by private individuals, each have their own character, both in terms of layout and layout. There are Farmhouses with a bedroom and private bathroom downstairs. In the houses where no bedroom is downstairs, one has an extra large living space. Downstairs is a toilet with sink. On the floor of each house are two spacious bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
