Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Proximity to the beach. It is beautiful, and has a lovely promenade. There is a good, friendly pub nearby, and several restaurants in short walking distance:; The Front Room served enormous portions. We found the house comfortable. The kitchen/diner being spacious, clean and well-equipped. The lounge is small, but cosy. It was great to have a large tv in both the lounge and dining area. We made use of the patio area that had table and chairs for 4 .Younger members of our group made use of the garden. The area was quiet, but it having the beach so near that made it for us.
Negative: Whilst downstairs there is ample room, the 2 main bedrooms were on the small size. The beds were very comfortable though. The en-suite shower room is very small, and has no storage areas. The family bathroom would be better if the bath had a shower fitted (with shower curtain). Do many people take baths nowadays? The youngster in our party was happy in their room though, which had a bunk-bed.
