Welcome to charming accommodation on a rural farm outside Fjärdhundra in Altuna Fröslunda, approx. 25 km north of Enköping. Here you live in the fine old brewery from the 1850s and in this farming village you get the feeling of calm and harmony. There is also the opportunity, if desired, to be creative as you get access to a room/studio that can be used as e.g. studio/activity room. (The owner is a music producer and usually uses the room as a studio/rehearsal space). You are welcome to use the beautiful grand piano. (Other musical equipment, speakers, microphones, keyboards, drum sets and mixers, etc. will be put away, but if you wish to rent something, you can contact the owner). On the ground floor there is the studio, which is open to the roof, kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet. The loft on the upper floor is accessed via a steep staircase and there is a smaller living room / bedroom with four beds, one of which has a bed base without legs. Here it is cozy and with low ceilings (slanted ceilings) with armchairs as a seating area. On the day of arrival, the owner, who also lives on the plot, welcomes you with freshly made beds where the bed linen is included in the rent and there are towels in the bathroom. From the kitchen at the back of the house you have a secluded, quiet furnished patio with a wonderful view of meadows and horses grazing. Start the day with a good breakfast to the song of the birds and feel free to enjoy the dinners in the nice evening sun, or why not take a dip in the pool (not heated) which is 4.5m x 90 cm deep. The plot is large and green and here you are welcome to use the playground equipment such as croquet, blocks etc. or you take a rest in the hammock or in the deckchairs. The accommodation also offers two bicycles and a tricycle that you can borrow. The host couple live on the plot but are allowed to be completely at peace and you can feel private. The area has a lot to offer and the nearest swimming is either in heated pools in Fjärdhunda, about 5 km away, or by Mälaren or in Mörtsjön; both about 25 km from the accommodation. If you have the opportunity to go a little further, about 45 km, there is a lovely shallow swimming pool in Östa. For those of you who want to hike, there are nice walking trails in the area. Also feel free to visit Gårdsjö elk park and go on an elk safari where you get close to the elk with a guided tour. Sala silver mine is another nice visit and minerals have been mined here for about 500 years. You are also close to Uppsala, Enköping and Stockholm with all that these cities have to offer such as culture, entertainment and shopping.
