A five minute walk takes you to shops for kiteboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, biking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, or apparel for trekking. In this mix of shops are restaurants, bars, theaters, pubs and coffee shops. No need to drive.

Highway 35 will take you south on a 45 minute drive through the orchards of Hood River Valley to Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort and on to the historic Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. Or take the Hood River Bridge north to Washington and the town of White Salmon.
