After having visited Carcassonne and its extraordinary medieval city at the beginning of your stay, with its 52 towers and its ramparts, along the Canal du Midi for bucolic strolls along the water, you will have the choice between numerous activities: hiking in the mountains, in the middle of the vineyards, speleology, water park, horseback riding, mountain biking or electric biking, climbing....only 16km away, don't miss a nice day at the Cavayère Lake, an exceptional setting, with sandy and grassy beaches supervised in summer, water games, pedal boats, ski lift, mini-golf, accrobranche, before going around the lake on foot or by bike (5 km or about 1 hour on foot) or having a picnic on the reserved areas.
