Step away from the bustle of urban life and into the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of our 500 acre horse farm and farmstead. The sleek Avion is a 23' RV set in a private nook surrounded by horse pastures, just minutes from downtown Chattanooga. At the farm, enjoy hiking the forest and field trails, meandering down to the barns to visit the farm animals, scheduling a relaxing trail ride, joining us for the late morning milking, or just sitting by fire and enjoying the slower pace.
The space
The Avion is an upgrade of the Airstream with a warm, vintage feel. The queen bed in the bedroom is made up on a thick memory foam mattress, the bathroom includes a stand up shower, and the kitchen has a nice sized frig and freezer, stove and oven, and is outfitted with most of your basic necessities. The dining table folds out of the way for a cozy living room feel, or converts into a small bed that could fit up to two extra guests snugly.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm as we do: hiking the forest and field trails and splashing in the Little Wolftever creek; meandering down to the barns and interacting with the farm animals; browsing through the garden and perhaps picking something for breakfast, supper, or a snack; scheduling a relaxing trail ride (Sunday-Friday by appointment); joining us for chores in the morning and/or evening or in the late morning milking; or just sitting by fire and enjoying the slower pace.
Other things to note
PET OWNERS: Please note that many of our smaller farm animals free range during the day, including two farm dogs. These dogs are herd animals, and while generally friendly, they are protective of "their" farm and will assert dominance to strange animals and people. Please keep your pets leashed at all times, and we recommend that you don't take them to the barn area or to milking at the the private residence.
TRAIL RIDES: If you would like to schedule a guided trail ride during your stay, please contact Hidden Hills Farm & Saddle Club' main farm number. We have limited ride times, so it's advisable to schedule in advance of your stay. Please note the following limitations:
1. Trail rides are scheduled Sunday-Friday; the barns are closed on Saturdays.
2. We offer rides for ages 10 and up and for riders 230 lbs and less. Younger riders can take "fun lessons" at the barn, which include fun riding games and a mini trail ride.
