Welcome to Achill Island Cottages, four luxury holiday cottages set in their own grounds in a secluded corner of Achill Island, Co. Mayo, in the west of Ireland. Located at the heart of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, these Four Star cottages are available for self-catering vacation rental all year round. The cottages combine modern design and layout with the intimate and rustic charm of a traditional Irish cottage. From the galleried reception room to the open fires, the private patio to the open plan kitchen-diner, they offer contemporary convenience in a light, airy and relaxing space. Each property has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. Achill Cottages comprises four 3 bedroom cottages located in an enclosed, off-road estate at Achill Sound. Each cottage has the same layout and facilities and can accommodate up to six people. A smaller property, Katies Cottage, has two bedrooms and is located at Bunnacurry, Achill Island. House Layout The open plan kitchen / dining room has a double height wooden ceiling and there is electric central heating throughout. Upstairs there is a luxury bathroom and shower, a bedroom with twin beds, and a second bedroom with a double and single bed. There is a shower room on the ground floor and a third bedroom with twin beds. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped. Living room with open fire. The back door opens to a patio area. The cottages are maintained to the highest standards and the owner / manager is on site. Facilities Electric Central Heating Open Fire TV & DVD Player Fridge Microwave Dishwasher Oven & Hob Washer/Dryer Kettle Toaster Included All bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils supplied. Outside Patio Area Open plan garden Extras A security deposit of €100 will be requested on arrival. Electricity is meter read, heating is charged at €2 per hour this will be deducted from the security deposit. Pets are allowed in Katie's Cottage only and are to be booked at time of the booking request (not the night before oops!! forgot about the dog). €20 charge plus additional terms and conditions will apply.
