A Bach in the classic sense, this 1950's farm house creates a great opportunity for an affordable stay in stunning Arrowtown.
Incredibly located on the high point, and sunniest spot in town, the wonderful views from the property are complimented by being a 5 minute walk from the town centre, 5 minute walk from the river and hill trails, and a 5 min walk from Four Square for the inevitable holiday snack runs!
This 3 bedroom family Bach has a welcoming homely feel and has been a holiday destination for four generations of the family since the 1950s.
It is a mix of furniture, the original old kitchen, and genuinely retro decor, with a few cracks and rough edges... but its cosy, warm, dry, tidy, very comfortable and has every amenity for a great stay.
Perfect for families or groups who are easy going, and looking for an affordable way to enjoy a world class holiday destination. The yard is large and perfect for children to play outdoors, or ride bikes around, but the property is not fully fenced so be aware for small children.
Younger group are welcome if they are respectful, quiet and tidy. Please note this is not for any who wish to be boisterous, loud or have parties. The property manager lives on the neighbouring site and is available to assist with any needs.
It is not renovated, not modern and not an expensive place to stay!
Arrowtown has wonderful shops, world class dining and bars, historic sites and of course the wonderful walking, cycling and 4wd trails running all directions into the rolling hills behind. The river is fabulous for playing with children and the house is 150m up the road from a playground and local rugby fields. Within a 5 minute drive you have scenic Lake Hayes, 3 world class golf courses, Ayrburn and Millbrook. It is a 20min drive to the Coronet peak ski lifts, 25min to the base of the Remarkables, and about 30min to the base of Cardrona Ski Field.
