You can use the cable car "La Vanoise Express" which will take you to the Domaine des Arcs or a chairlift that will take you to the Massif de la Plagne.
The resort Les Coches provides ice rink and the Montchavin is equipped with a water center "le Paradisio" (Balneo pool, Sauna, jacuzzi, showers mist, Hammam), the 2 stations working together, a free shuttle connects them to to avoid moving your car, the stop of this shuttle is in front of the residence. Summary: Four of us enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this apartment in Les Coches. It is in a good quiet location in Les Coches, just five minutes walk from the chair lift and the shops. There are two nice bathrooms. Shampoo and body wash are provided. On arrival we found a bottle of wine as a welcome gift which was a nice surprise. Beds and bed linen are of good quality albeit a little on the small side for tall Dutch people. Kitchen is small but equipped with absolutely everything you need. We cooked six out of the seven days and had everything we needed. For us the main drawback was that there was no free Wifi in the apartment itself, only in the reception area. We could have paid, which was quite expensive, but the people in the reception advised against it as they said the paid Wifi was of poor quality. Unfortunately when we tried to use the sauna and Hammam, which we knew you had to pay for, we were told by the reception that both were out of order and would remain so for the rest of the week. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay here.
