Hennessey's Hide A Way is a brand new cottage perched above Christopher Lake in Bryant Pond with views of Mt. Christopher and Mt. Abram ski resort. Located on a quiet private road just 1 mile to swimming or hiking, 5 miles to skiing and mountain biking at Mt. Abram and 15 miles to Sunday River Ski and Golf Resort. The property accommodates up to 12 guests comfortably, in 4 bedrooms. The master suite offers a king bed with glass tiled shower, walk in closet and tremendous views. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queen beds and share a full bath. Bedroom 4 has a full size bed as well as a set of twin bunks, great for all the kids to bunk together or for a family with little ones and a shared full bath with tub. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are thoughtfully laid out with charming touches throughout. The kitchen is well equipped for everything you will need to prepare a simple snack or a full meal for everyone. Seating at the kitchen peninsula along with the dining table offer a spot for everyone to come together. The living area is the perfect spot to relax after a day on the water or the slopes. Sit back and enjoy the view, watch the large TV or enjoy the ambiance and warmth of the fireplace. The extra family room on the lower level is a great place for the kids to hangout and play games or watch TV. The deck is perfect to watch the sun sink behind the mountain or the fireworks from Mt. Abram as well as listen to the loons on the lake below. The cottage was designed with vacation get a ways in mind. Rather you are looking for a serine relaxing stay, just enjoying nature, the views and cozy furnishings or, an adventure filled trip this is the perfect destination. The views of course are amazing add in the cozy furnishing and décor and you may not want to leave the property. If your group has more adventure in mind you are close to swimming, hiking, down hill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, dog sledding, golf, fishing casino and more! There are also plenty of options for dining, shopping, and entertainment as well, ask us about our favorites. The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.
