Negative: None of the previous reviews were acknowledged in the book they left for reviews and pages were missing! Also doors were unable to be closed. The internet and phone signal was terrible. The hot water had to wait to reheat before a second person could have a shower. The husband turned up to his other property and grilled me on why I had washing out! I explained that the dog had got mucky paws on the sheets so had to wash them. This was down to being unable to close ANY doors as they need a carpenter to fix them as too big for the frames! He was very rude! There was a hole in the fence and my dog escaped several times! I took them 3 days to fix it and accused my dog of causing it. We saw the foxes responsible! When I rang to ask if I had left my key behind after our stay, the wife accused me of leaving the property in a disgusting state! I certainly did NOT! None of the previous reviews have been addressed such as saying it’s a romantic set up, yet they only have twin beds etc. I do have photos of the reviews from the book so can send those in to prove what I am accusing them of. The fridge/ freezer is far too small and could easily accommodate a larger one. This is all obviously why they do not get repeat business and why so cheap! They are relatively new to the business but an older couple with several properties and clearly do not have the time or inclination to address the issues raised in the book. I would not return and in fact would like to seek compensation for the stay if I can. The worst part of the trip was dealing with the very rude and grumpy husband. Then the wife was equally rude when I rang her after the trip asking after my key. I do not expect to be spoken to or treated that way when I am the customer that paid money to be there! He was constantly spying on us from the property he owns doing repairs there. We had to close the curtains in the end!

Summary: Terrible experience due to owners. Place is lovely but lots of issues that could easily be rectified!
