Surrounded by lush gardens and towering palm trees, condo Las Palmeras is located in beautiful Los Tules in the heart of the hotel zone. As you enter the foyer of the condo, the bedroom with ensuite is to your left. Directly to your right is the laundry room complete with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Entering the short hallway past the second bathroom, your eyes are immediately drawn to the magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. The living/dining room and kitchen are open concept flowing out to a large lanai. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stovetop, small oven and microwave as well as small appliances for all of your needs. Bottled water is also provided in a dispenser for both hot and cold water. The living area includes an additional seating area for conversation or watching the large screen tv. The lanai has two lounge chairs, two large umbrellas and an additional dining space. Whether it's dining al fresco, reading a book or watching the sunset, it's the perfect place to enjoy life on the Mexican coast. There is also maid service during the week.
The gated property with 24 hr. security has six pools, two of which are heated, tennis and pickleball courts as well as an on-site restaurant. Chapultepec Cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with oceanfront views of Puerto Vallarta and is a nice alternative to dining in or visiting any of the nearby restaurants within easy walking distance. You can also call the cafe to have a meal delivered directly to the condo. A small convenience store is also located on the property across from the office.
Plaza Caracol is a mall directly across the street from Los Tules and offers a large grocery store, pharmacy, bank, hair salon as well as other retail shops. Be sure and try a rotisserie chicken from the vendor on the south side of the mall...they are delicious! Should you want to dine or shop in Old Town, stroll along the Malecon or visit the marina, just ask the employee at the entry gate to call you a taxi or you can catch a bus directly in front of the property. There are direct beach accesses throughout the property, one of which is directly in front of our condo, for you to enjoy the beautiful, sandy beaches of Banderas Bay.
Nearby activities include fishing, snorkeling, horseback riding, fine dining, art galleries and much more. During the winter months, enormous humpback whales travel from northern Canada to take their annual vacation in Banderas Bay. They often entertain the guests of Los Tules with spectacular water shows!
