Linen and towels are available for a further $30 fee We do not charge a high season rate over the Christmas and New Year's period but we generally have a minimum number of nights for booking over this period depending on availability. Birdsong Cottage is a cozy cliffside cottage with a large deck. Sit on the deck under the sun umbrella and enjoy absolutely fantastic unobstructed views of the sunset, the ocean, and Muriwai. The cottage has been newly remodelled and furnished with beautiful polished floors. Great outdoor furniture, BBQ, Sky TV and fireplace. Double doors open onto the deck from living room and from master bedroom. Private, quiet on large (1/4 acre) section away from road. 70 sq. m interior, plus large utility room. Mature garden of native plants. Easy access for parking and turn-around. No phone landline or internet but good cell reception and good signal for Vodaphone internet stick. Short drive or walk to the beach, gannets, cafe, golf course, tennis courts and bush walks. Property is not really suitable for young children and sorry, no dogs. Careful renters only please. No more than 4 people allowed on site (no visitors without prior approval and no parties accepted). If you have friends coming to the beach, they will need to meet you at the beach or cafe. Visitors are by prior arrangement ONLY including day guests. Special conditions: Please read all the following info before booking!! .
