5 Bedroom Cabin in Blue Ridge
The Cozy Cabin Mountain Retreat sits atop a 5 acre secluded hilltop in the heart of Blue Ridge surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. With a short 8 minute drive to downtown, this newly constructed 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom private house is a hidden gem.
This charming cabin is the perfect getaway for family and friends who are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend time together while also being in a convenient location to restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities.
The house can accommodate up to 12 guests (10 adults max) and features a fully stocked kitchen, 2 covered porches with an outdoor fireplace and hot tub, foosball table and arcade game system.
The main living area has vaulted ceilings and is open to the kitchen and dining room. There are oversized couches on both levels along with additional recliners to provide comfortable seating. There are two indoor dining tables - one that seats 4 and one that seats 6 as well as 3 more at the kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, 5 burner cooktop and oven along with a counter depth refrigerator. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a blender, toaster, crockpot, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a combination Keurig coffee maker.
Off of the main living areas on both levels is a 45' long back porch overlooking the rolling hillside. On the top deck there is an outdoor fireplace, smart TV, 8 person dining table, lounging chair and BBQ grille.
The master bedroom has a king bed and is off the main living area overlooking the back porch. It has a private bathroom with a walk-in closet along with an oversized shower and claw tub combo. This room will provide you with the same mountain view as our living room from your bed and has access to the back porch from which you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage.
There are two other bedrooms on the main level with queen beds, large closets and mounted TVs. These bedrooms also share a full bathroom in between them. Adjoining to the main living area is a laundry room fully equipped with a brand new full size, front loading washer and dryer.
The lower level is where guests can enjoy all sorts of family fun. A separate game room offers hours of entertainment to both the young and the young at heart. There is a retro arcade machine, foosball table, and a TV to catch a sports game. Along with all the fun, the downstairs living room includes comfortable seating, a cozy gas fireplace, and a mini-fridge for your drinks and snacks along with a full size dining table that seats 6 guests. On the outdoor patio area there is more outdoor seating along with a 6 person spa under the cover deck for total relaxation.
Finally, there is high speed 1GB fiber connected directly to the cabin with 3 Wi-Fi access points throughout. There is plenty of bandwidth to stream all TVs, personal devices along with any type of remote work, including video conferencing, if necessary.
In less than a 5 minute drive you can be at Mercier Orchards, Bear Claw Vineyards or Old Toccoa Farm Golf course. A few minutes further will put you in downtown Blue Ridge for great shopping, dining or visiting the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
GUEST ACCESS
The Cozy Cabin has a paved asphalt driveway from the main road that leads to the house at the top of the hill. There is adequate parking for guests that can accommodate 3- 4 vehicles. Once you have booked and are paid in full, we will send the door access code on the day of arrival by noon.
IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING BOOKING:
We want you to enjoy your time away and have a great experience at our house so please pay attention to the important property information below. By Booking, you have acknowledged, read and agreed to abide by the house rules and rental agreement.
Quiet hours are between 9:00 pm to 9:00 am.
Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 12. The maximum number of adults is 10. After 8 adults, any extra adults will be charged $75 per night. Exceeding this will result in a fine from the host of $250 per person over and you will be asked to leave.
This is a non-smoking property. If you smoke inside the house or outside on the premises you will be charged $250 as well as an increased cleaning fee and charged for any damages.
The hot tub and is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The hosts are not responsible for any injuries that result from the use of it.
Pets are not allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind, you will be charged an additional $500 and you will be asked to leave.
Absolutely no fires or open flames of any kind including candles except for the outdoor fireplace. The use of a candle or any type of flame will result in a $250 fine. Guests must also provide their own firewood, which can easily be found at all local area stores in the Blue Ridge area.
No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.
No late check-out or early check-in. Should you choose to ignore or overlook this rule we reserve the right to charge $75 per hour.
The property is equipped and secured with Exterior A/V surveillance which may be in use and monitored through the house alarm system. There are No cameras inside the cabin.
Rental Age Policy: We want everyone to have the pleasure of enjoying our home; however, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home AND be present at the home the entire stay. Please provide the accurate number of guests staying during your reservation. Any unsolicited visitors will be considered trespassing.
Owner's Liability: Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the property, inclusive of but not limited to the house, the grill, the fireplaces, the hot tub, etc. regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Guests fully understand and acknowledge that outdoor activities have inherent risks, dangers and hazards. Participation in such activities may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains, fractures, partial and /or total paralysis, death or other ailments that could cause serious disability.
