Located in Savannah’s Garden District between Memorial Hospital and downtown, this distinct home is a perfect base to mellow for a month or more in coastal Georgia.
We call the home “Yellow” because it’s bright. It is a duplex unit with a fenced-in back yard where guests may keep pets during their time here. Daffin Park lies nearby for recreation.
Downtown is 10 minutes’ drive away. You can be on the beach at Tybee Island or Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport in 30 minutes.
The home has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and one bathroom. A second bedroom has been converted into an office with an office chair and desk. The master bedroom has blackout curtains for those working late or overnight shifts who need to sleep during the daytime.
The kitchen has the appliances you have at home and is stocked with a temporary supply of necessities. A washer and dryer is available.
The back yard is fenced. It is not shared with the other unit in the duplex.
Nearby Daffin Park has a dog park and 1.5 miles of jogging/walking trails for recreation. It is also the home of the Savannah Bananas minor-league baseball team.
This home is older, built in the 1940's. In Savannah, to get the best location, you will find these older homes provide a great value. The home has been well maintained and was recently freshened up with new appliances, new furniture and a new roof.
