Fully Air conditioned, the house is on a spacious plot, providing ample privacy as it remains mostly hidden from view. Nestled in a lush and vibrant tropical forest, surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the region, Casa Venado enjoys frequent visits from various wildlife species, including white-tailed deer (known as "Venados" in Spanish, which inspired the house's name), as well as three distinct types of monkeys, vibrant and majestic birds, white-nosed coatis, and numerous other fascinating creatures.
The space:
Casa Venado boasts spacious and beautiful indoor and outdoor living spaces, with elegant furnishings and modern amenities that provide our visitors the ultimate comfort and convenience.
The large indoor living area is perfect for relaxing and entertaining, with plush seating arrangements and magnificent floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offer uninterrupted views. The glass doors open wide to allow tropical breezes in. Casa Venado also is well-equipped for hot weather as the entire house has air conditioning (unlike many rental houses in the area, which have a/c only in the bedrooms.)
The outdoor living spaces are just as impressive. The stunning pool and sundeck are perfect for soaking up the tropical sun in comfortable lounge chairs while surrounded by serene and lush tropical greenery. Or enjoy the tranquility of the covered outdoor space, further cooled by overhead fans and perfect for a close-up view of the jungle.
The kitchen is well-designed for preparing delicious meals, with plenty of counter space and brand new, top-of-the-line appliances (oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher). It also is supplied with a coffeemaker, blender, toaster, and rice cooker, in addition to the full sets of cookware, utensils, and tableware. Whether you prefer to cook for yourself or to hire a private chef, you’ll find everything you need to create the perfect dining experience.
Casa Venado has 3 bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms. Each bedroom is identical in size and configuration: a master ensuite with a king-sized bed, and it’s own beautifully-tiled outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim. The bedrooms are simply but well-decorated, much of which is locally-sourced. In addition, all bedrooms have blackout curtains, and all bed & bath linens are well-made and 100% cotton. Please note: two of the bedrooms are located in the main house, and one bedroom is it’s own separate building which is adjacent to the main house.
Casa Venado comes with a team of dedicated staff, including a concierge and maintenance services ensuring that every aspect of your stay is flawless. For an additional fee, housekeeping during your stay is available; whether you would like it daily or only as needed, please contact us to schedule the housekeeper at your convenience

Casa Venado is located in the heart of the private green community of Palmas Pacificas, which is secluded, pristine, and paradisiac. It is less than 10 minutes by car to the Marina in Quepos, and a short drive to Manuel Antonio Park and the area’s unique beaches.
Palmas Pacifica community boasts miles of hiking trails that wind through both the primary and secondary rainforests, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature’s beauty.
It also features a botanical, medicinal, and butterfly garden named Biophilia park, which, at night, becomes the Jungle Night Educational park. These are separate activites and can be booked through our concierge service.
