Positive: The location of this studio is absolutely perfect. It’s very close to Rossio, has a little supermarket below and you are very close to restaurants, bars and the tram, busses, etc. There was a small kitchen with a fridge, a fan, a hairdryer and honestly everything you need for a couple of days in Porto. I loved that the bath towels were so big! You could really drape yourself into them. I was a bit worried because people complained a lot about it being too loud but the windows are VERY new and dim the sounds from outside. If you sleep with the window open, of course it’s gonna be loud but honestly, you’re in the middle of the CAPITAL! If you want it to be quiet, maybe go to a secluded mountain cabin. The apartment even had packs of fresh Oropax for you to use. People were also complaining about the narrow stairs. Again, yes they were narrow but nothing compared to the stairs in many houses of the Netherlands. Last but not least people complained about the small bathroom and yes it’s small and it doesn’t really fit two people but there was enough space to get ready etc. I think the price-value is absolutely okay for this place.
Negative: One thing that really annoyed me and needs to be fixed please is the toilet seat. The lid wouldn’t stay up and always fall down when you’re sitting on it and the seat would slip to the side awkwardly when you sat down. I would have loved for there to be an extra mirror because the light in the bathroom is not great when you want to put make-up on. Last but not least it would be awesome to have a second blanket/douvet.
