Positive: The cottage is beautiful, tastefully furnished, has breathtaking views from the windows and terrace. The owner has a passion for coffee, there are several equipment to prepare coffee, which is available. Under the terrace there is a coffee plantation. I appreciated the written instructions for using the cottage and the surrounding area. The cottage is situated at an altitude of over 2000 meters above sea level, during our stay (August) it was quite cold and windy from the afternoon.

Negative: There is no heating in the cottage, there are warmer blankets, but we were still cold. You have to wear warm clothes and drink hot beverages. Our arrival at the accommodation was embarrassing - the owner was not present, asked us to pay for the accommodation by PayPal online, did not let us on the property until the money was transferred. After a three-hour drive and in the rain it was not a pleasant welcome, we had to deal with a weak signal in the car and struggle with PayPal. I felt like an untrustworthy guest. In other accommodations in Costa Rica we paid even at the end of our stay, I did not feel suspected of not wanting to pay.
