Positive: The location was great, the beach is around an 8 minute walk and everything else is within walking distance. The pool was also nice and enough for the 3 of us. They came to clean the pool 2 times during the week we were there. The outside space was very nice. And there was enough space to park our car on the inside. Staff was also very responsive and nice.
Negative: The beds were extremely uncomfortable, really due to being updated. Especially the only double bed in the house, it wrecked our backs. We came in a very unfortunate time, on our first day there was a gigantic storm that took the electricity down throughout the whole city. There wasn't even a restaurant to eat, and we had planned to have lunch on arrival. We ended having to go to the next city to find something to eat and were out of electricity for hours. This also turned into having 10+ frogs in the pool (which we want to think were only there due to the storm). Obviously, the weather conditions are out of the control of the host, but it was still very unfortunate. There are also ants everywhere, which I guess is expected in these types of houses. The AC could also use an update. It was only in the living room and didn't reach the rooms. They did provide us with a fan when asked.
