Positive: the house (an actual small palace), is very lovely and the host was wonderful in telling us its history and about some of the artifacts in the house. The location was excellent, right outside the big castle walls. There was free parking right by the house. there is a nice garden with a beautiful view. the breakfast was great with every kind of cheese, meat, bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal. they even made eggs when we asked. it was very clean.
Negative: I think there should be a heater in the bathroom (there is a radiator but it was not on). Since the room is below street level, it seemed damp and cold. When the heater is turned on, it directly affects whoever is in the bed right beside it. I think if possible and if it is not too expensive, the radiators should be on in the spring, cold weather. I think it would be fine in the summer, warm weather. Also the beds could be firmer and more comfortable.
Summary: very lovely host and wonderful place, location, garden, history, but the room could have been better
