Positive: It’s a family run hotel, with lovely warm hosts, good value for money and pleasant views from the rooms. One short very easy (1hr) circular hiking route passes right by the hotel, such a lovely way to explore the area on first arrival. You will need to drive to trail starts in either national parks of Alt Pirineu and Aiguestortes if you’ve come for a hiking holiday. We found they’re between 20 and 40mins drive away de pending the routes you want to do.

Negative: Having access to a kitchen would have been helpful, as the restaurant below is a little pricey, but the hotel was great and there are restaurants you can drive to in the nearby villages.

Summary: Lovely simple hotel that provides a clean room and bathroom with lovely views of the mountains
