Positive: The location is stunning. You wake up, step outside, and you are greeted by green pastures, waving grasses, mountains, clouds, and beautiful horses grazing in the surrounding fields. We loved having space for our little one to run. We loved visiting and feeding the horses. We loved that we were an hour from CPT but it felt like a real holiday.
Negative: The couch was really uncomfortable. I usually don't talk about stuff like that, but it was more like ...to look at. Not to actually sit on. Needs replacing. Additionally, there were several items that were slightly damaged. The wood-burning stove window was cracked straight across. The pull for the window shade in our bedroom fell off when we tried to lower it. The hot tub didn't have much water in it. Our son got to play in the water (not warm), but we couldn't use it, which was really disappointing (it was one of the reasons we chose the place). Nothing terrible. We had a lovely time, and the location more than made up for it but if I was looking for a premium experience I would have been frustrated.
Summary: Wonderful escape from the city. Beautiful views. Family friendly. A quick hop to town. We'll be back
