Solitude Cabin is a retreat in the middle of northwest Wyoming’s sweeping vistas, a blissfilled locale offering the best of two worlds: it’s part of the Star Valley Ranch community and it’s surrounded by pure beauty beyond words. Experience the natural bounty of the scenic Bridger National Forest and larger-than-life views of the 10,500’ mountains, all from our property. You’ll find the Snake and Salt rivers, which meet at the Palisades Reservoir, and more trails than you can imagine. We are located on the road to Yellowstone National Park, which is just two hours north. Solitude Cabin is also situated one hour and 20 minutes from the airport, and one hour from the finest skiing in Jackson Hole. Whether you’re hiking the land, navigating the rivers or simply alone with your thoughts, the experience is all yours. Our wish is that you enjoy every minute, with them and with yourself. We designed this beautiful 1,850 sq. ft. cabin as a blend of rustic warmth and contemporary simplicity. Where we could be together to retreat, relax and gather after an action-filled day of outdoor pursuits. We call it rustic with a heightened design sensibility. You’ll call it inviting and way comfortable. And your whole tribe can be together (our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath luxe cabin sleeps up to six). Our open concept design on the main level was conceived with soaring-height ceilings, wide plank oak floors, a wood-burning stove, and 17’ high expanses of glass. All the better to take in the views. The state-of-the-art kitchen features quartz countertops, custom stainless steel appliances and rough-hewn wooden cabinetry. We’ve even included a mudroom, having learned the hard way that more fun means more mess (well worth it!). A wide staircase takes you to the secluded lower level of three bedrooms: get ready to be spoiled. Sleep like a baby on our “tuft and needle” beds featuring super comfortable mattresses on two queen beds and a set of bunk beds. Even more, as spectacular as the understated architecture is, the views might just be your greatest source of inspiration. We strategically placed two outdoor porches — one in front and one in back — to take full advantage of the magical splendor all around. From high-performance connections (we offer fiber optic internet) to a full size garage for your SUV, complemented by plush comfort, this is the ultimate vacation retreat. Wander into the wonder.
