Our Dorset Coast family and pet friendly cosy traditional three bedroomed cottage set in the stunning, picture postcard village of Upwey on the fringes of the lovely Dorset AREA OF NATURAL BEAUTY between the popular seaside town of Weymouth and the charming historic county town of Dorchester. There are many scenic walks in the local area and these are signposted as the Weyvalley walks. There is free reliable Wifi throughout the cottage because we know how important it is to keep in touch. We welcome one well behaved pet. This lovely cottage is furnished to a good standard and equipped with all you needto make this a super self catering experience. There are three delightful, bright comfortable bedrooms all carpeted. The master bedroom has a standard sized double bed, wardrobe with two large drawers and dressing table with lighting and an efficient hairdryer, there is also a light on the dressing table. Bedside cabinets with reading lamps are on each side of the double bed. There is ample space for the travel cot which is suitable for small babies having an insert for little ones up to six months. The second bedroom has a cosy double bed, a dressing table with three large drawers, a bedside cabinet and a reading lamp on one side and a shelf with another lamp on the other side of the bed. The third bedroom has a triple bunk with the lower 4ft bunk sleeping two people, there is onlyaccess from one side. The top 3ft bunk is accessed via a ladder and is only suitable for one child over five years of age. There is very large wardrobe with a large drawer, also a small bedside cabinet with three drawers. There is a reading light above the lower bunk and a small shelf by the top bunk. There is plenty of room for a travel cot if you wish to have the child in a room of it's own, cot bedding is not provided. A good sized shower room with wash basin and toilet serves the three bedrooms. Towels and linen are supplied at no extra charge. Downstairs through a door at the bottom of the stairs is a really cosy sitting room with a large leather settee and armchair. There is a gas fire styled as a wood burner which quickly warms the room on a chilly evening, sit here and watch a family favourite film on the large flat screen TV after a busy day on the beach or wandering through the beautiful countryside on your doorstep. Walking through to the adjoining living/dining room is another comfortable room for relaxation, at one end is a really comfortable leather settee and a large leather arm chair giving lots of space for people to enjoy and it gives the opportunity for separate activities as a door divides the two rooms, at the end of the rear room is a dining table which extends to easily accommodate six people, where a family meal can be enjoyed. Ahigh chair is available. There is a free view television with DVD access in the side. In this room is a feature fireplace and wood-burner which is not functional in the summer but there is very efficient gas central heating if necessary. The attractive duck egg blue modern kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you will require. Including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, double electric fan oven, coffee machine and washing machine. The cottage has been carefully arranged to ensure a memorable holiday. We ask people not to smoke inside the cottage. Safe parking is at the rear of the property in a designated area and has space for two vehicles. The rear garden is gravelled with colourful shrubs and climbers surrounding the table and chairs ready to enjoy a relaxing drink or BBQ after a fun-filled day on the beach or discovering the many activities and historic sites in the surrounding countryside.
