Located in a very lively area, close to numerous shops, pubs, restaurants, gyms and supermarkets. Tate Britain is just round the corner! The space: A cosy studio flat in one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Central London - just next to Pimlico Station (zone 1), 10 min walk from Victoria Station or 20 min from Big Ben. Located on a quiet street and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. Pimlico has it all - from theatres and cinemas to shopping malls and quirky gastro pubs! The studio is ideal for a single traveller or a couple. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a washing machine with a dryer available as well as ironing facilities. The flat is professionally cleaned before/after each visit. Spacious private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Free super fast Wi-Fi, ideal for watching Netflix or for guests travelling for business. Communication with host: As much as guests need me. I live just round the corner and I am available via phone/email 24/7. I am also happy to meet guests in person and share tips about London and the local area. The neighbourhood: Pimlico is a great area to experience London as a real Londoner (whilst in the heart of the city and close to all big attractions). The studio is located in Zone 1 just opposite Pimlico Tube Station (Victoria Line which runs 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays). You can go to Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Southbank, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Hyde Park or Leicester Square within 15 min by tube or even walk (~2 miles). All big attractions are 3-4 stops away and for the art lovers - Tate Britain is just round the corner. I'd highly recommend a walk along the Thames which is just behind the building for the best photos and views of the Parliament and Big Ben. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shop near the studio and a couple of local shops inside the building. Big supermarkets such as Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's are also within 5 min walk. Getting Around: Nearest Stations: Pimlico Station (Victoria Line), Victoria Station (Victoria, District and Circle Lines) & National Rails and Victoria Coach Station. There are also plenty of night buses (e.g. 24, 36 and 38), so you can easily explore the city's nightlife! Easy to get from/to all London Airports (especially Heathrow, Gatwick and City Airport).
