Summary: It was a pleasant stay with clean modern room and bathroom. We were on the ground floor and was woken up at 5am with the person upstairs going to the bathroom and having a walk around on the creaky floor - not ideal when away for a relaxing break. We fell asleep again only to be woken up by golfers with noisy caddies walking right past the open bedroom window as the room window opens out onto the golf course walkway + this happened on Saturday and Sunday morning. EV charger outside kept cutting off part way through charging and only managed 11 miles of charge in 2 days. On a more positive note, the room came with access to the swimming room, sauna and hot tub which was lovely. Staff all very pleasant and will return (albeit in an upstairs room] if in the area again - we stayed to attend a nearby wedding at Gosfield Hall. Uber to wedding venue averaged £22 each way
