Creek House is an extremely spacious, beautifully appointed, ocean front home on a unique, very private and exclusive gated peninsula between a tranquil creek and the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Creek House affords a fabulous Caribbean vacation with huge comfortable spaces inside and out . We offer the best of all worlds - the ultimate island getaway, peace, privacy, casual luxury, seclusion AND great restaurants, night life, international shopping, historical sights, Atlantis and Palm Cay within a 5-15 minute drive.
Creek House, the original home in this secret hideaway has been fully modernized and redesigned to suit 21st century ocean front living. Our excellent accommodations, and all the amenities you would expect from such an idyllic location, are ideal for an extended family gathering of up to 12 adults and 3 young children, or a group of friends .
Creek House is ideal for chilling-out, gathering together, private escape and family time. This perfect vacation destination provides a cool and inviting tropical refuge from the world, with French doors leading out from all but two of our very spacious rooms to pool side patios, decks and various covered and open terraces, complete with outside dining, comfortable seating and quiet corners.
Our sprawling 5000sq ft single storey home includes:
• Very large, well equipped open-plan kitchen, with breath taking ocean and pool views, a 10-foot breakfast bar, dining table and casual seating.
• Dual aspect great room with comfortable seating for entertaining and conversation plus a formal dining area with French doors to east and west terraces gardens and pool.
• Family room with 3 squashy sofas to chill, catch up with a movie, have a game of chess, or do a jigsaw. Opening on to the western terrace with dining table and seating; a great rendezvous between house and cottage.
• 4 well-appointed bedrooms in the main house, with a choice of comfortable beds, quality sheets, soft and firm pillows, easy-chairs, sofas and desk space.
• 3 spacious and inviting bathrooms (2 en-suite);
• Separate fully- equipped open plan guest cottage, complete with kitchen area and bathroom.
• Suitable for most mobility limited guests.
• Air-conditioning, and high speed wi-fi internet access throughout
• Fully automated back -up generator, so power outages (a challenge in the Bahamas) are never an issue.

Bedroom 2: US Queen size bed. sofa, desk. French doors to pool terrace and ocean. En-suite shower room. This room suits most guests with limited mobility, as the bathroom includes grab rails for the shower and toilet. A portable bath chair is also available for this or any other shower. Please note the bathroom door is 28 inches wide, so not wheel chair accessible.
Bedroom 3: US Full size bed. Love seat, desk, views to creek side garden.

Bedroom 5/Guest Cottage: US king size bed and adult size bunk beds. The 600sq ft. guest cottage provides a spacious open plan living, sleeping and kitchen/dining area with shower room. French doors to creek side garden and private terrace.
Externally, Creek House is especially accommodating for a large group. Our typically Bahamian tropical gardens, sparkling pool, expansive private ocean frontage and beach area offer opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy the fabulous Bahamian weather with unobstructed views to Paradise Island, Atlantis and Athol Island.
From the ocean patio, start the morning with a coffee watching a new sunrise over the azure ocean or later in the day, catch a spectacular sunset with an evening aperitif. Very few homes on the island offer both. During the peak heat of the day, enjoy the cooling sea breezes on a shady beach terrace. Sneak away to a private corner under the trees, pull up a sun lounger and get lost in your book. Fancy a mango, avocado, passion fruit or banana for breakfast? Pick one fresh from the trees (seasonal), or take a coconut anytime.
Have fun and cool down in the beautiful private pool, large and deep with wide steps for easy access and a sitting ledge around the shallower end. Enjoy watching the little ones play safely in the sand and keep cool in a kiddie paddling pool. Please note that the pool and the ocean front are open so children must be supervised.
We have garden games including darts and giant Jenga, croquet, paddling pools for babies and plenty of space to play.
Feeling energetic? Dive in to the crystal clear Caribbean waters for a long swim or take a kayaking trip:- visit our creek to hone your kayaking skills, then head further west to Maura’s Creek or east as far as you like - maybe the Eastern lighthouse and let the prevailing winds help you home. We have two large kayaks (to suit 2 adults and a child) and multiple life vests for most shapes and sizes. Snorkel or fish right at the end of the garden. Fish, turtles, rays, and occasionally a pod of dolphins may swim by.
Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Creek House is perfect for an idyllic island vacation. Should however, you choose to leave the Creek and re-join a busier world, we are only a 10-minute drive to downtown Nassau, our island capital .
The Bahamas is one of the most vibrant island nations in the Caribbean. It offers a rich history and culture, myriad activities, festivals throughout the year, and numerous hidden treasures. We really do have something for everyone; whether it’s a night out, international shopping, golfing, water-sports or a visit to the world-famous Atlantis resort and casino. And after a busy day, what better than to retreat to your very own private paradise.
LIMITED MOBILITY NOTE. Our home was not specifically designed to meet ADA wheelchair user or other precise mobility guidelines, but because of the layout of the house, all on one floor, with very few steps, it would suit most elderly people or those with mobility limitations. The main entrance has five steps, but the house can also be easily accessed by a well lit ramped pathway, suitable for wheelchair users. We have a portable ramp to cover the 3-inch threshold lip of the French doors. Once inside, all the doors to public rooms and bedrooms are at least 32 inches wide. Bathroom doors are 28 inches wide. Bedroom 2 has plenty of space each side of the queen bed and an en-suite shower. This is not wheelchair accessible (28-inch door) but we have fitted grab bars for assistance with both the shower and the toilet and can install a portable bath chair with back and strong support handles, if required. The shower has both a fixed and hand-held shower attachment. Please note there is a 5-inch step into the shower. Please do contact us for further clarification before booking.
