Summary: The location of this beach home could not be better. At 5 bedroons and 4 baths, the home met our needs for a big family gathering. The layout was really terric. It was very easy to access the beach via a short walk or the beach train. The Ria Formosa wetlands are beautiful. Markets are close by as are the lovely towns of Santa Luzia and Tavira. Our hosts were quickly responsive, but not always helpful. Their response to our issue about "No Wifi" was "go to the vacation village office. Use theirs." Our issue about "no coffee pot" was "use the Nespresso machine" which stopped working 1 week into our 2 week stay. The air conditioners in 2 bedrooms and the living room did not work.The fireplace was nonfunctional.Their were plenty of plates and mugs but they were chipped and covered in ugly knife marks.The hose on the back patio by the grill leaked continuously, leaving a slimey puddle under the splinter-making picnic table. Several of us tried to turn off the hose with no success. Our hosts left no beach towels for us although we found a bunch in the unlocked supply closet. This house needs a real refresh and we would be happy to give a 5 star review.
