Hampton Inn and Suites Exeter is the newest hotel in the greater Exeter area. The hotel is ideally located just 6 miles off major Interstate I-95 at exit 2, which runs North and South from Boston up to Maine. It is also right off of Route 101 at Exit 11. Route 101 is the major connecting route from Manchester and the White Mountains to the seacoast of New Hampshire. The hotel is 51 miles from Boston Logan Airport and 30 miles from the Manchester/Boston Airport, which makes traveling into the state of New Hampshire very convenient. The property is a short walk to the center of the town of Exeter. The Squamscott River runs through Exeter and can be enjoyed while dining at one of many fine restaurants that look upon the river and waterfall. Exeter has many fine independent shops of boutiques. It is a short walk to Phillips Exeter Academy, where one can lounge in the expansive parks or sight see the award winning architecture. Also within walking is Swasey Park that is right next to the Squamscott River. During the spring, summer and fall seasons, a Farmer's Market brings local produce and products into town. The historical houses of Exeter could be an all day adventure - either walking or driving. The American Independence Museum is also within walking distance. The American Independence Museum Festival is an annual event in July. The Rinks of Exeter is a state of the art Ice Rink that opens to the public on a regular basis. The hotel is minutes from the Exeter Country Club for golf, driving range and putting green. The golf club is one of the 100 oldest courses in the nation. It is truly breathtaking in its views and has 18 holes now. Apple Picking is at its best just three short miles from the hotel. Applecrest Orchard is worth the trip every time in the autumn. There is something for everyone to do. The hotel is also an easy drive to New Hampshire's beautiful coast line. Just 8 miles East takes you to Hampton Beach where there's quite a bit to do for children as well as a beautiful stretch of beach. One can meander up the coast on 1A and see all the seacoast of New Hampshire. Portsmouth, NH, one of the most popular seacoast towns to be found on the eastern seaboard, is just 12 miles north and an easy drive up I-95. Portsmouth abounds with boutiques, restaurants, theater, live outside theater, Strawbery Banke, and Prescott Park. More shopping can be found just three miles away at the Kittery, Maine Outlet Malls. The Hampton Inn and Suites has both suites and rooms available. We have complimentary in-room and throughout the public spaces, HSIA, wired and/or wireless. The hotel has a salt water indoor pool and whirlpool and fitness center. The hotel has an Executive Center where computers, printing and faxing can be done. Guest also can print from guest room to a secure sight in the Executive Center. The property has one meeting room "Pennacook" which can accommodate up to 85 reception, 65 rounds and classroom. It has a lovely patio off of it so in the warmer months the attendees of a business or social function can go outside.
