4 Bedroom House in Treme, New Orleans
Opulent 1830s Creole Cottage, at its finest, located in the charming neighborhood of Treme. A short walk 5 block walk from the French Quarter and streetcar on Rampart.
Our grand home has been meticulously restored to its original charm and decorated with period antiques, while providing modern conveniences for guests enjoying their stay in New Orleans. A rare property that features a luxurious heated pool with built in 8 person hot tub spa to enjoy year round.
If you're lucky, you might see one of the many second lines that roll down our street!
The Space:
This magnificent home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Gorgeous period antiques, art and sumptuous linens adorn this large creole cottage, providing an authentic and comfortable New Orleans experience. Enjoy the private backyard area that contains a lavish gazebo, heated pool and hot tub for guest to enjoy during all seasons. The house is equipped with high end amenities such as a Sonos sound system, ice maker, filtered water, SmartTV (Netflix, HBOGO, etc) in every bedroom
Guest Access:
You will have complete and private access to the home and backyard with the exception of a few locked closets. We live on the other side of the home and have a separate entrance from the main house so you will probably never see us unless you need help. :-) The main house and backyard is all yours and completely private. The pool pump and heater will also be locked, but someone will be available to heat the pool prior to your arrival for an additional cost. The front door will have a punch code access unique to your group and changed for every guest, so no keys are required! Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils.
Interaction with Guests:
Our house manager is always nearby in case he is needed, in addition to always providing you an in-person check in. We live on the other side of the double, but you will probably not see us, as we respect our guests space and privacy.

There is typically plenty of street parking except for a few special events that are held from time to time in the area. We have never had to park more than a block away and can almost always find a spot right in front of the house.

A visit to New Orleans would not be complete without spending some time in one of its most historic neighborhoods...Treme! This grand home is conveniently located in historic Treme, a short walk to the French Quarter (5 blocks). Start your day at either of the two fantastic neighborhood coffee shops, Fatima's Cozy Corner and Treme Coffeehouse, both located on the same block as our home. Take a stroll two blocks and you're in the famous Louis Armstrong Park. As one of the cityโs oldest neighborhoods, there is much to learn and experience when you are there in the Treme. Experience this historic area 's famous restaurants, second lines, music clubs, museums, Mardi Gras festivities, coffee shops, architecture and historical sites. Centrally located in the city, giving convenient access to attractions in Treme, French Quarter, Frenchmen St Mid City, Bywater, Central Business District, Superdome, Smoothie King Center.
Getting Around:
No vehicle required. 5 blocks from the streetcar on Rampart St. You can walk 5 blocks to the French Quarter or take a short Uber ride.

3 blocks from the Lafitte Greenway which is a fantastic bike trail that runs from the French Quarter to City park. Free parking on the street.
