LIVING AREA
Featuring two comfy sofas which sit perfectly in front of the flat-screen TV, you’ll be able to comfortably relax here in the evening after a day on one of Scarborough’s sandy beaches.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and features all of the modern appliances you need including a oven and hobs, a microwave, a kettle, a fridge-freezer and a toaster. You’ll also have the added bonus of a dishwasher so you won’t need to worry about doing the dishes during your stay.
DINING AREA
Once your food is prepared and served, head to the glass dining table and tuck in whilst watching the world go by through the bay window.
BEDROOM
Apartment 6, Royal Sands’ first bedroom is a cosy double room with an amply-sized wardrobe and bedside tables, along with lamps and plugs for your convenience. Wake up to the beautiful sea views that can be seen from the window and watch the waves roll in.
The second bedroom is perfect for children and teenagers' as it is furnished with a bunk bed. The lower bunk has a double bed, while the upper bunk is fitted with a single bed. It also has a tall chest of drawers, providing great storage for belongings. Once again, you’ll be blown away by the excellent sea views on offer here.
BATHROOM
Well-thought-out, the family bathroom includes a bathtub and a separate shower, as well as a wash basin and a WC.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
We provide a parking scratch card, allowing for free on-street parking nearby on a first come, first served basis. No parking is available on-site.
Apartment 6 can be reached via a communal lift.
A high chair is provided in the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
Located close to the centre of Scarborough, Apartment 6, Royal Sands is just a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.
There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 15 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around:
Apartment 6, Royal Sands is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.
Scarborough Train Station is a short 20 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
