Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Security in terms of it being located in a hotel building so there is a measure of personal safety. The layout of the apartment is nice. Each bedroom has a bathroom and the living room also has a guest toilet which is good. It’s spacious enough and the view is amazing.
Negative: Sigh…. The bed sheets, you can see that they aren’t white-white. They have been generally washed yes, but they look dated and looked as white as they ought to. The plates in the cupboard had food stains including the glassware and cutlery. The plates in the cupboard also had dust and particle stains meaning the apartment hadn’t had a thorough cleaning in a long time. The first night I arrived there were zero towels. And I was told they would come the following day. You can imagine bathing without a towel. There were no hand wash soaps in the bathrooms and at the time I booked it was an emergency, upon arrival I was told the apartment was not ready for occupation and that I would be refunded the money or I could check in later. I found this slightly alarming given that the property was listed as available on the date I wanted to check in and they had accepted my booking. Also I have stayed in Rentals before where cleaning was provided gratis or I was asked if I would need cleaning done as a separate charge. I had to enquire about cleaning and ask for an arrangement to be made that I would pay for.
