Summary: We stayed at this property for 7 nights. The first few days were great. The room stayed cool and it was a great space. We did notice some very potent scent releasers in 3 spots and due to being strong and having allergies- I relocated them to a cabinet for the duration of our stay. The condo was very clean with the exception of some black spots in the shower grout and the vent above the shower. I had previously read a review that mentioned musty smells so it was definitely a red flag that there were humidity and mold issues. For the last 2 days of our stay, the air conditioning went out. You could feel the warmth and humidity in the resorts hallway as well as see and feel extreme moisture build up in the condo. The first time it went out we contacted the property manager and they had a maintenance technician there within a couple of hours. We came back to the room and it felt great again. We noticed a few hours later that the thermostat temperature was climbing again and the humidity was increasing. I messaged our property manager that evening but received no response. That night was pretty unbearable. The sofa and bed were full of moisture and so gross to try to lay on and you could see the condensation on the tile floors and counters. The next day we received acknowledgement of the last message and we didn't hear back after. We enjoyed the resort, itself, very much. Dehumidifiers would make a HUGE difference across the resort to aid with mold smell, as well.
