Set in the heart of the Itria Valley, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. The historic town of Martina Franca is only 9KM away with an excellent mixture of historic buildings, shopping and restaurants also hosting a market of local produce on a Wednesday and Saturday.
The Trullo is approximately 35Km from the Adriatic coast and the same to the Ionian Sea in the opposite direction. The country lanes are ideal for cycling and walking, the local tourist board do supply some mapped routes.
This is a traditional 3 cone Trullo, built in the last half of the 19th Century. Renovated and beautifully modified keeping its character but also offering a modern interior. A wonderful place for relaxing, reading, enjoying the night sky and the local wildlife. The patio is equipped with excellent garden furniture, including a double hammock! No bedroom doors makes this place even more special. Seeing the moonlight completely illuminate your bed at night, and feeling the sunrise on your face the next morning. The aroma of brewed coffee coming through from the kitchen, the sound of the shower and the birdsong as you lie in bed in the morning. All this you can only experience at La Casa di Lucy
