Summary:
Located within walking distance of Devonport & Naval Base, this home has 3 huge bedrooms.
Ideal for Families & groups with the huge kitchen & family room + another TV lounge at the front of the home with a big sofa that converts to a large double sofa bed
Enjoy the sun in the sunroom or out on the back deck & private garden. No BBQ available.
Ferry to Downtown, business hubs, beaches & Takapuna is just a short drive away.
The motorway is only 6 km away & Auckland CBD 15 km.
The Space:
Sitting above the street, you walk up a few steps, along the path then up a few more to the front door. Being a typical villa you enter straight into the lovely entrance hall running through the middle of the house. To your right is the master bedroom with sun-room off it. To the left is the front lounge with TV and a large sofa which converts into a generous sofa-bed. Next are the single bedrooms on either side of the hallway. A foldaway bed is available for an extra guest as well. The bathroom (including laundry) is next on the left. At the end of the hallway is the large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area across the back of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of room for everyone to help with the cooking! There are a few steps down into the dining and family lounge where large French doors open out onto the private deck and sunny lawn and garden.

Only a 10 min walk to Devonport shops and restaurants, and the Ferry to downtown Auckland....and beyond! Explore North Head & the tunnels & military base. A grocery Store is just down the road.

Guest Access:
Entire listed home is all yours. Check-in is via a self check- in Lockbox onsite.
The Neighborhood:
The two main local beaches are Cheltenham beach and Narrow Neck beach. Narrow Neck is the main beach for swimming/picnics on a warm day.
• There is a café and dairy at the top of the street. The café does breakfast, brunch and lunch. There are a range of cafes, Restaurants and Pubs that can be found in the Devonport village.
There's an old cinema (The Vic) that still shows movies on a daily basis, located just at the top of Victoria Rd.
The local mountain (Mt Victoria/Takuranga), makes for a good walk and views of Auckland and surrounds. There's a road going straight up or a grass walking path which corkscrews around the outside of the mountain. Watching the sunset or having fish and chips on the top of the mountain is highly recommended.
You can find the supermarket at the centre of the Devonport Township. A 6 minute walk.
Getting Around:
There's a bus stop at the top of the street, and also further along on Victoria Rd; you can catch buses into Devonport Village or up to Takapuna.
The ferry to downtown Auckland leaves the Devonport ferry terminal every 15 minutes during peak times ie. early morning and late afternoon, and every 30 minutes for the remainder of the day.
There are other ferry services that go to Rangitoto and Waiheke, you can check the Fullers Ferries website for times and pricing, or pick up a timetable at the wharf.
Other Things to Note:
This home is in a lovely suburban area, I know you will be but please be respectful of neighbours in terms of behaviour and noise inside and outside of the house.
The property is above street level with no off-street parking, and access is only via the front steps.

We know you will be respectful of our property and the neighbours but we want to make it very clear to you BEFORE you book, the property and booking restrictions & policies. These apply to inside, outside and all common areas and nearby street. These apply to all guests and those associated with our guests while they are at the property. If you unfortunately chose not to comply with these, your booking will be cancelled & you will be asked to leave immediately plus there are significant associated charges.

CHECK - IN TIME IS AFTER: 3 pm (15.00) on day of check in. CHECK - OUT TIME IS BY: 10 am (10.00) on day of check out. Charges apply if you arrive early or leave late.

• No PARTIES, GATHERING OR EVENTS of any kind (formal or informal)
• No LOUD NOISES or UNACCEPTABLE or ILLEGAL BEHAVIOUR of any kind or activates or items in or on the property. Curfew is between 10 pm (22.00) & 9 am (09.00)
• No DAMAGE, MISUSE, BREAKAGES or REMOVAL of the property, building, common areas or neighbours property & any contents. You are fully responsible & liable for any repairs & replacements.
• Please do not block neighbours driveways when parking or obstruct the street
• No TAMPERING WITH ANY SAFETY & HEALTH DEVISES including smoke alarms
• Additional services or Items: Charges for hire and delivery may apply and MUST be prepaid for.(Inc additional bed linen)
• Beds: Only beds can be used for sleeping on. Linen hire is compulsory for the sofa -bed & is an additional charge to the nightly room rental charged for guests staying.
• Any quests staying or stayed not included in booking will be asked to leave & extra guest booking charges will apply for the whole booking period.
• Cleaning: As part of your booking, a light after- stay guest clean is included. You are expected to leave the property in a tidy & cleanly state with all dishes cleaned & put away & beds left unmade, all table & bench tops cleared. All rubbish must be placed as instructed. If the property is not left in a tidy condition & rubbish removed as requested you will be charged additional cleaning fees.
• For stays longer than 14 days, a guest paid refresh clean & linen change will be required as part of the booking.
• Amenities: This property is not serviced. Short stay is about self-catering but we do provide a small array of amenities to support you for your first day. These are not replenished during your stay.
• Luggage: Please note we DO NOT have facility to store luggage at our properties.
• Access Keys: If you lose, damage or take the access keys you will be charged the cost of replacement plus a Pillo admin fee.
• Locked out: If you lock yourself out you will be charged a Pillo call – out fee + any building management & security charges & any lock smith charges. You may be required to supply proof of identity & booking before being given access. Response time cannot be guaranteed.
• Left items: At your cost (& pre –paid) Pillo will attempt to retrieve & return any left items to you. Please note any retrieved items will only be held for one month before being disposed of
• We do not accept any MAIL or PACKAGE deliveries. Any received will be returned to sender at your cost.
• Cancellations: Please refer to listing cancellation policy. Please note there are no refunds if booking is cancelled once property is occupied.
• Car parks: If a carpark is mentioned in the listing. Availability is not guaranteed at time of booking. Please check with us. Charges will apply and must be paid before arrival.
