Log cabin!! | Cabin in Duluth

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooden acres. A short hike over the sucker river on a storybook bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin.

This cabin has a main room which holds two sofas and an indoor fireplace. There are games, books, and binoculars available for guest use. To access the sleeping loft a steep ladder must be climbed. The sleeping loft has a Sleep Number bed. There is NO RUNNING water in the kitchen or the bath. The bathroom has a composting toilet. We will have well water in jerry cans for you to use for dishes or the sauna. We recommend bringing two gallons of water per person per day.

Our cabin is situated roughly 15 minutes south of two harbors and 15 minutes north of Duluth. The closest superior hiking Trail head is just a five minute drive. This is the perfect place for a peaceful base camp for exploring Duluth and the surrounding areas.



*** there is no shower. The sauna works well in Spring, summer and fall but doesn't get warm enough to use in the winter.

***do not book this cabin if you need to charge medical equipment.

***do not book if you can't clear a two foot step to the deck or climb the ladder to the loft. the ground is unlevel and very bumpy.

***this cabin is off grid. There is a propane stove, furnace and fridge. You will be cozy and warm in the winter. Propane lights are turned off. Lighting is minimal and powered by solar. In the winter you may run out of solar power. Bring flashlights. We have invertors for charging phones.

***absolutely no microwaves or hairdryers etc.
